About Joe
Joe was introduced to tennis through a public, youth summer program held at a court in a neighborhood very similar to the Phoenix Tennis Center. He earned scholarships to play on both Hampton and Southern University's tennis teams when he began winning satellite tournaments and earned the opportunity to go on the tour. Joe held a #1 national ranking as a junior, and earned invitations to the US Open and Wimbeldon. Joe continued to compete into his 40s where he held national rankings. Joe's emphasis is on developing elite players.
